 John is the ultimate professional. His  role was to deliver a program for one of our business partners, which  involved intense client management, program management, and resource  management. At the time John was providing this service, the company was  going through great change, including restructuring, management  turnover, and staff attrition. Through all this, he did not skip a beat.  He continued to deliver to our business partners and external clients,  while managing through all of the internal change. If given the chance, I  would gladly work with John again.

 I have had the pleasure of working with  John at both Sears and Symcor. He is an excellent project leader -  someone able to clearly communicate key issues and risks to senior  management and very effective at working with team members across the  business to get the job done. John understands the theory and art of  project management and brings a practical "we can get this done" mindset  to his work. People respect his approach and enjoy working with John. 

 John is a no nonsense get it done guy. I  watched John in his role as Information Technology Project Lead for some  extremely complex initiatives...Y2K, the Launch of Sears Bank and the  conversion of the Sears Credit Platform. His skills went beyond just IT  where John headed up the Due Diligence Team on the sale of Sears Credit  Card to JP Morgan Chase a 2.5 plus Billion dollar Transaction. 

I  brought John back to Sears from retirement to be the Project Lead on a  Strategic Catalog Merchandise Alliance between Sears and German based  Otto Versand, the largest Direct Marketer in the World. In this  initiative as well as those mentioned earlier John always delivered on  time and on budget. He is a Pro. 

 I worked for John on many high profile  projects. Re-launch of the Sears' 6.2 Million credit cards. The I.T.  infrastructure support for the implementation of Sears Canada Bank. The  Conversion of Sears Private Label Credit Card to TSYS platform. John was  always a pleasure to work for. He encouraged everyone to exceed  expectations and we all did it gladly as he was always out in the  trenches with us. He has amazing organizational skills. He knows how to  put a strong team together and keep it together. Anyone who has worked  with or for him has nothing but respect for his talents. 

 There is no doubt about it, John has a  superb strategic mindset. We worked together on a $254 mil project and  John showed his strengths and abilities by juggling many many priorities  and responding to the myriad of changes. He certainly has a passion for  getting things done without compromising on time or quality. What I  particularly appreciated about John was his orientation towards  business, "it isn't about the technology" but is about "getting  results".  

 John is a highly regarded project manager  with a wealth of experience in leading large and complex projects.
